A night of digital marketing in Derby

Last night marked an evening of digital marketing in Derby, with members of the Greendog team in attendance. The Marketing 2020 event is an annual programme, held at the University of Derby, which looks at emerging developments and innovation in marketing.

It was a big night for Greendog as sponsors of the event, and Adam, Digital Director as one of the main speakers. The evening began with a short networking session, before speakers from various industries shared their expertise on digital marketing. The event then concluded with a question and answer session, with the panel giving their advice on best practices with social media, Ibeacons and website design.

Talking Digital

Adam was the second speaker on the night, presenting how digital marketing can improve business operations. One of the key areas Adam spoke about was work wallet, a current Greendog mobile project. Adam had also prepared some thoughts on Greendog’s latest #FromYourPocket campaign which encourages businesses to turn to mobile technology to improve their efficiency and productivity, particularly companies with off site employees.

There were some great insights also from Sharon Stevens-Cash (Gravity Digital), Beth Maher (Derby NHS) plus panel guests Phillipa Bowen (Business Ignition Group) and Sandrine Fabris (UoD MBA Student)
